GraphiStudio wedding albums

To me, and to most photographers I'm sure...the wedding album is the last step to a complete wedding day. How many times do you really take out your cd and view your photos? The answer would probably be not that often. But having a beautiful book displayed in your home is a reminder how special your wedding day was and how beautiful.

Now that I have delivered the following albums, I am proud to share them to everyone :) This couple ordered a 12x12 40page album as their main one and they decided to order two 8x8 duplicate albums for their parents. With the company I work, you receive a nice discount for duplicates and I am sure the bride and groom's parents would appreciate that and want memories of their children's wedding day displayed in their home. The couple chose the beautiful soft Italian black leather, embossing their names and date, and a front photo cover.

Many more cover options are available! I am in love with their albums :)

Client presentation & Marketing

I love LOVE me a good set of paper goods for business marketing and client presentation. I think it says so much about your business and how you work and are organized. I decided to invest in 5x5 trifold cards to hand out to clients who book a session. It gives them information on my print prices, albums, ideas about what to wear to the session, and also a place to write the date, time, and address of the session.

I also have samples of 5x7 folded cards that come in packs of 25 and include envelopes. These are great for just about any occassion, but for clients who would like these cards to send to family and friends during the holidays, these are perfect.

I talked about my newest little album that I have added to my collections in my previous post, but I'd like to also show this beautiful 10x10 20page album. I include this album in my wedding packages and it's truely a must see in person. You have the option of customizing it with a photo cover printed on metallic paper, or you can choose from various leathers. You can also upgrade to higher-end albums in the heirloom collecton.

I'll be showcasing my album samples and a few other goodies at the Posh Little Closet event that will be held at the Pelican Bay Club in South Daytona on Oct. 15-17. I will be offering great discounts on both wedding packages and portrait sessions. There will also be a drawing for a FREE wedding package to a lucky couple and for portraits as well. Can't wait!! :)

My newest album sample

I'm soo excited to be able to add this little gem to my collection of album samples. I think it will be perfect to include it in my portrait session packages because I just love seeing the finished product after a session in print, rather than just leaving it in a cd and the photos never get printed. It's a great little album to display your photos from your session. There are also many cover options available. I decided to try the dark red alligator leather and it's perfect! It's classy and fun. This is a 6x6 40page album and it includes samples of my portrait work, and in the last few pages, I decided to include a few wedding photos :) The album is not expensive at all and you can also choose to decide to upgrade in size and the number of pages if you'd like to make it into a wedding album. I think this album would be a great in-expensive alternative to my other premium leather heirloom collections I offer. They can also be used as companion albums if you wish to order some for your family.

Check out a few of the designs below in my sample album.

Forbeyon albums swatch samples

Ever since I came across Forbeyon wedding albums, I fell in love. They have so many beautiful cover options and you can even mix the leathers and colors to make the album completely your own. But there was one thing I wondered. I wondered if they had some sort of swatch samples for all their covers because I couldn't possibly order a ton of studio samples in every cover and combination. It would be such an overload for a client to view. Thankfully and brilliantly, they came up with these cute 3x3 square cutout samples. It showcases all their cover options and there are many but I think it will definilty give clients a feel for what their albums will look like.

They came in this cute little box:

and here are two of their albums that caught my eye. I love that you are able to personalize your album by including a cameo cut for your cover photo. The albums can also come with matching slipcases! So cool.

Photobiz website hosting & pricing

One thing I love about Photobiz is that they give you the ability to completely change the look of your website at no extra cost! They have so many websites to choose from and once you pick the one that's right for you, you can then go ahead and customize it! Add as many galleries as you'd like, and play around with the colors and fonts. I've recently been thinking about the layout of my website and although I do still love super big, pretty images, I have noticed that it might be easier to the viewer to have them in a more normal, medium format. Some of them get cut off and I don't want the viewers to think that is how the original photo looks like.

So here it is, my new layout for my website. I love the gray, teal and khaki look to it. I think it looks a little cleaner in my opinion and you can access the Menu information fairly easier. Check it out!

I've also updated my wedding packages for 2010-2011. I offer reasonable prices for most brides budget and I love to be able to customize packages that really reflect what a bride needs. I know from my experience, I had a tough time choosing a photographer with the right packages (thankfully I found the perfect one!). It's good to have an idea of what you want. For me, I knew I wanted a wedding album, as this is the most important thing you'll ever have from your wedding. It's the one thing that can be passed to your future generations and a good quality album really stands the test of time. You can have it beautifully displayed in your home and whenever you have friends or guests over, be certain that they will want to look at it everytime! :)

Engagement signature books

I wanted to share just a few spreads from a recent engagement album I finished. They are so easy to design because there is alot of white negative space that is intentionaly left that way so guests can sign and comment. Gone are the days of unpersonalized boring white traditional guests books with full of empty lines!

Engagement books make a great keepsake and I think it is something couples will enjoy over and over again for years to come. I include these in most of my packages, but if there is a couple who would like a book but had someone else take their engagement photos, I'd be more than happy to design and provide this book to you! Please email me for more info. I love these books so much! ;)

Ahhh I love the feeling after a long day of cleaning my home. It gives me a sense of great acomplishment and it literally makes my soul happy. Coming in to a clean home is the greatest feeling in the world. I love living in a clutter free environment. When life gets busy though, there are times that I kinda let everything go and slowly things start to pile up. I feel stressed and down, and that's when I realize that it's time to do a good cleaning and free up my mind.

Much like a good clean uncluttered home, I feel the same about Albums. It's all about bringing out the best in every photo and there's no way you can do that if you cram in a million photos into several pages. They will start looking more like thumbnails and the beauty of the entire album will be lost.

I'd like to share a sample engagement album I recently ordered. An engagement album is basicly used to display at the reception and can serve as a guest sign in book. No more traditional white books with lines and empty pages. An engagement book is full of life, color, personality and it serves as a personal keepsake that will be treasured for years to come. You can even personalize it to have wording of your choice!

This sample is a 10x10 hinged paper, 10 spreads, 20 sides album. This particular design holds 22 images including the cover photo. There is plenty of negative space for guests to sign and write notes to the couple.

You can include your own personalized words!

Hinged Paper allows the pages to lay flat for easy writing and panoramic view of the images!!

If you'd like more detailed information on how to get your own engagement album, please feel free to shoot me an email! I include an engagement album in my complete wedding package, but you may also purchase it A la Carte.

Happy Friday!

I'm the kind of person that likes to take as little steps possible to get somewhere or to reach my goal.

When I cook, I like to cook things all at once and avoiding having to do things seperately, waiting for one thing to finish to start the next. I may look like a mad woman in the kitchen, but it eliminates alot of steps.

When I take a shower, I'll apply the conditioner on my hair while I soap up. That way, the conditioner will stay a little longer making my hair silky smooth while I finish the rest. Once I'm done, I just wash everything away all together.

After I shoot a wedding, I love editing the photos but I don't want to deal when it comes to designing the album. Here is my thinking: I'm a photographer, not a designer, so I leave that to the pros :) It's an extra step that I've decided to outsource, and I am 110% convinced that my clients will benefit from that as much as I do. It free's my time to dedicate it more to my clients and other aspects of my life.

Recently, I've had the pleasure to work with an AMAZING album design company, Albumesque. Amy and her staff are incredible and words cannot describe how I feel about them right now. I'm grateful for their hard work and there is a reason why alot of the top wedding photographers in the industry use them for their album designs. Please, if there is a photographer out there reading this and questioning whether they should outsource their designs or are looking for a designer, get in touch with Amy right now! I will be using them for all my wedding albums.

Wedding Albums

Three words came to mind when I picked an album company to work with for wedding albums:

Clean. Modern. Simple.

If the above three words describe your taste, then these wedding albums are just for you! Before I decided to start offering these, I did countless research on the internet and looked up reviews from other photographers. I was blown away by all the positive reviews!! and it made me so happy because it really put me at ease knowing that I would be offering something that is worth the investment. These beautiful albums are made of 100% full-grain, natural leathers that wrap their hand-made albums. They are high-end flush mount albums and come in 3 sizes and 7 different colors.

Their production time is about 2 weeks! You won't have to wait months to get your albums anymore! I offer these A la carte or in packages at a discounted price. Another fabulous idea is that you can use the smallest size album as an engagment photo album to display at your reception for guest signatures!. It would be a beautiful keepsake after the wedding that will last you forever. I also offer other albums with various options such as photo covers and personal embossing.

Here are a few sample images of the wedding albums plus a color swatch.
