I have so many great things to say about this wedding. From the dancing to the food and to the emotional vows, it was truely a beautiful and unforgetable day. The day started at The Florida Mall where the beautiful bride had her makeup done at MAC. I arrived just in time to capture the finishing touches and then we headed to the hair salon to get her all glammed up! Finally, we headed to a friends house to get all ready. Here are a few of my favorite pre-ceremony photos, I'll be breaking the wedding photos in different parts, lots of favorites! :)

This photo just makes everything feel so calm :)

Pretty curls!

and eye lashes!

and dress!....Paula's dress was stunning and fit her perfectly

I loooooved her shoes, and she got them at a steal!

I adore this one of Paula spraying some of her perfume

All ready to head to the Ceremony and get married!!

Chic. Classy. and Elegant.

Those are the three words that come to mind when I think about last Saturday's wedding. I'm not ashamed to admit that I squealed with excitement when I got Jennifer's email asking me if I would be able to shoot with her at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Orlando. It's one venue that I've been DYING to photograph a wedding in, and it certainly did not disappoint. The hotel has so many places to shoot in and it makes for a very dramatic and modern backdrop. It truely was a beautiful day for a wedding!

Coming soon...

I've got some great news coming up this week!

First, I can't wait to share my NEW logo! I purchased it from Simply Couture Designs. They are custom logo designers as well as websites but they also sell pre-made logos for a steal and once those are sold, they never sell them again. They go pretty fast so make sure to follow them on twitter to be the first in the know!

Second, I will talk about my change from a jpeg shooter, to a Raw shooter and the difference! Note: you don't need lightroom to shoot in raw!

Third, I'm really excited to start using off camera lighting. I'm always learning so much and from second shooting with Jennifer Werneth Photography this past saturday, I have realized what a blessing it is to be able to take that flash off your camera. It is so dynamtic, so dramatic, and I am completely motivated to learn more about this. It's incredible. Can't wait to share a few of the images soon!

Aside from photography, it's been a whirlwind of a week. Yesterday, I went into surgery and thank God everything went well. I won't go into too many details but it was my first time admitted to a hospital. I've never been to the ER let alone in surgery, so I was a little nervous, but I'm thankful everything went smoothly. I rested up all day yesterday and now I'm ready to work.

I also rented a bunch of goodies for this weekends wedding so I can't wait to use my new gear and test them out. It's gonna be a looooong fun day!

If you are already a fan on my facebook page, you may have seen this image, as well as other little news, but I'd also like to share it here on blog to hold everyone over until I can get more of these edited :)

New Smyrna Beach engagement pictures

Ok, so I know this post is way over due but I've been so busy, not just with editing but with life as well. I'm happy to say that my husband and I found this really nice duplex house to rent and we move in just a few weeks! I'm so excited because our new home will be alot bigger, clutter free, and all vinal wood floors, no carpet! I hate carpet, so this new place will be perfect for us. I'll be sure to snap a few photos when it's all set and done :)

I've also received lots of goodies this week. I received a new sample album from Collages.net and it's so beautiful and better than I had imagined it! I was able to show it off on a client meeting today and they absolutely loved it! I personally love leather albums but it's also nice to be able to personalize the cover of your album with a photo, so this works perfectly too! I also ordered a new flash for off camera lighting, bought extra memory cards, and last but not least, I have a new 5D!! Ahhh so excited! Can't wait to share a few photos out of this camera soon! I will be second shooting a wedding tomorrow at the beautiful Grand Bohemian Hotel. I've been dying to shoot here so I'm very exciting and so grateful to be given this opportunity.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend! :)

Rachael's business headshots

Rachael looked absolutely beautiful for her photoshoot. We had a great time at our mini session. She was looking to get a few head shots for her future website. I love these mini sessions because they are so laid back and fun!
