A while ago, Heather asked me to see if I would be able to take some updated portraits for a personal project she is working on, and of course, I happily obliged! I love making a girl feel ultra fabulous and bringing out the fashionista that is in them. I think every one of us has it in them and I love being able to capture different personalities with my camera. Here are just a few more of my favorites :)

I'm so happy I was finally able to take Heather's portraits. September has been a rainy month here in FL and it seemed like everytime we'd schedule the shoot at 6pm, a thunderstorm would come rolling in at that exact time. The third time seemed to be a charm because we had gorgeous sunlight, the type of soft light right before sunset. We headed to Ormond Beach memorial gardens for our shoot. I love this place and it seems to be well hidden, like a secret garden, because no one I have asked has heard about it. The light was just pouring beautifuly into area's of the garden and it changed it's look entirely. I love catching that rim light when you face your subjects back towards the sun. Here is a little sneak peek of our session. Full post coming soon! :)

Alana and Chance, thank you so much for giving me the honor to document your love. I know I was only able to witness a sliver of it, but from what I saw, I was able to see two best friends who are madly in love, that really compliment each other, and that makes me so happy! You guys are perfect for one another. Both Alana and Chance have big beautiful families and I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Keith, the Bride's stepfather, for coordinating everything so well and rounding up everyone together for the formals! I can't thank you enough! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
*Edited to add: CLICK HERE to view a sample album design from their wedding*

They were so anxious to see each other. Here is their first look as they met each other down the aisle

I couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Shooting in overcast skies is the best! The clouds act as a big soft box and diffuse the sun for prettier light :)

I just have to say that Chance's mom is incredibly gorgeous.

Sneak Preview: Alana and Chance

Ok I know this isn't much of a preview but I wanted to share at least one of my favorite images from this saturday's fabulous wedding. I was so bumped and I went shooting the wedding in a calm, positive and happy mind. I always say that your attitude and the way you feel WILL affect the way you shoot. That's why I always try my best to be in a happy positive attitude a few days before I have to do a shoot. It really helps to make you feel at ease and it clears your mind so you can focus on what you are doing.

I have to just say that this was one of the best weddings I have ever shot. I just felt so happy the entire day and everyone was so cooperative, especially during the formals. I'll have to talk about that on the full post. With that, here is a sneak peak to one of my favorite image from the day. Full post coming soon! :)
