I'm so happy I was finally able to take Heather's portraits. September has been a rainy month here in FL and it seemed like everytime we'd schedule the shoot at 6pm, a thunderstorm would come rolling in at that exact time. The third time seemed to be a charm because we had gorgeous sunlight, the type of soft light right before sunset. We headed to Ormond Beach memorial gardens for our shoot. I love this place and it seems to be well hidden, like a secret garden, because no one I have asked has heard about it. The light was just pouring beautifuly into area's of the garden and it changed it's look entirely. I love catching that rim light when you face your subjects back towards the sun. Here is a little sneak peek of our session. Full post coming soon! :)

These are fab!! I can't wait to see more!
Thanks for the support, Jackie :) You are such an inspiration to me! I was born and raised an army brat so moving around has always been easy for me, but living under someone else's roof is a little bit tougher than I imagined. If I choose to stay here then I will probably find a roommate to live with. Thatd be sooo awesome :)
And YES SVU! There's a marathon on today as well as the season premiere tomorrow!
I am 25% Guatemalan (HOLLA!) :) Represent! haha! :) Those photos of me are soooo old, though. I'll have to put up a new one :)
I knew you must have had a little bit of spanish in you! :) I am full Nicaraguan, well my parents were born there, but I was born and raised in NYC. I'd love to go visit there one day but first on my list is Europe, Paris France to be exact :D
Yes it can totally be tough living under someone else's roof but it can be pretty tough too with a roomate, just choose wisely and make sure you guys have the important things in common, like keeping the place clean and getting the food/kitchen thing situated lol.
I seriously could watch SVU all day. I love playing detective and putting all the pieces together, even if sometimes I don't get it right away ;)
