Daytona Beach Wedding Photographer - Thyra & Mee, Part 1

To celebrate their 6th year wedding anniversary, Thyra & Mee decided to slip back into their traditional outfits, and when Thyra contacted me about possibly having a photo session at their home and then at a beautiful nearby park, I was beyond thrilled! She described what type of outfits they would both be wearing and sent me a link to what they looked like. I couldn't wait to get them in front of my camera. I love the bold colors and intricate details that are found in many different cultures and have always wanted to photograph them.

Here are a few of my favorites from the first part of our session.

I loved loved all the intricate details on Thyra's gown. From head to toe, she looked stunning.

I made sure to also get a few of Mee alone. Their families were all gathered at their home and they kept calling him King. He said that in Cambodia, only kings and royalty wore outfits like this

After a few portraits indoors, we headed outdoors for a few more around their home. The light was gorgeous that day so of course, I was really excited that we were able to go outside :) Thyra also changed into another outfit.

I really liked the fiolage around their home. It made for a lovely background. It almost looks like we traveled to a completely different place

I will be posting part 2 very soon which involved a different outfit change and a beautiful park :)
